Leading specialist in Effective workplace communication

How kind of you!

Sometimes recognition comes from places you do not expect.

I recently received a message informing me that my work in communication and performance development had been recognized by Corporate Vision.

The message announced:

“Leading Specialist in Effective Workplace Communications 2026: Antoni Lacinai

I honestly did not know who had nominated me, so my first reaction was simply:

Thank you.

Why Workplace Communication Matters

Effective workplace communication has been at the center of my work for many years.

I work with leaders, executives, and teams to help them communicate more effectively, build stronger relationships, and create better conditions for performance.

Communication may sound simple, but it affects almost every part of an organization.

It influences:

  • Leadership
  • Employee engagement
  • Team collaboration
  • Customer relationships
  • Trust
  • Workplace culture
  • Performance

When communication works, people understand what is expected, feel more connected, and can work together more effectively.

When communication fails, even good strategies can become difficult to execute.

Communication Is More Than Talking

Being a good communicator is not simply about speaking clearly.

It also means listening.

It means asking good questions.

It means understanding different perspectives.

It means adapting your message to the person and situation.

And sometimes, it means knowing when to stop talking and give someone else space.

This is particularly important for leaders.

People do not only listen to what leaders say.

They also pay attention to how leaders behave, respond, listen, and handle difficult conversations.

From Communication to Performance

My work combines communication with performance development because the two are closely connected.

Clear communication can create clarity around goals and expectations.

Good conversations can build trust.

Trust can make collaboration easier.

And stronger collaboration can support better performance.

This does not mean that communication solves every organizational problem.

But poor communication can make almost any problem harder to solve.

Helping Leaders Become Better Communicators

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing what happens when leaders become more conscious of how they communicate.

Sometimes the change is very small.

A better question.

A more thoughtful response.

A genuine moment of listening.

A clearer message.

A conversation that would previously have been avoided.

These small changes can influence relationships and, over time, the culture of an organization.

Recognition Is Encouragement

Awards and nominations are not the reason I do this work.

The real reward is seeing people communicate better and create stronger workplaces.

Still, recognition like this is meaningful.

It is encouraging to know that the work I do around workplace communication and performance development is being noticed.

So, to whoever nominated me:

I have no idea who you are, but thank you.

I appreciate it.

And I will keep doing what I enjoy most:

Helping people become better communicators and better leaders.
